Domaro is an assistant for people who run businesses. It is operated by Domaro Onward LLC (“Domaro”, “we”). This page says what information Domaro handles, why, where it goes, and what you can do about it. Questions: platform@domaro.app.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, your email address, and the passkeys you sign in with. We never see your passkey’s private key or your device’s Face ID or fingerprint.
- Your records: what you and your assistant put into Domaro: businesses, projects, people, plans, decisions, reminders, dates to remember, and notes, including private notes.
- What you connect: if you connect an account such as Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), Dropbox, QuickBooks, Autodesk Build or Outbuild, Domaro reads from it what it needs to keep your records current: mail, calendar events, file names and folders, schedules, and similar. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time.
- Photos and recordings you capture in the app, and what you say to the assistant by voice or text.
- Technical information needed to run the service: sign-in sessions, device names you give, and service logs.
How we use it
Only to provide Domaro to you: to keep your records, show you what needs you, sort your mail, remind you of what is coming, answer you by voice, and do what you ask. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
How it is protected
- Each customer’s Domaro runs on its own server. Your records are encrypted with keys unlocked by your passkey; your private notes can only be opened with your passkey.
- Photos are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded, and only your devices can open them.
- Connected accounts’ access tokens are stored encrypted. Connections are read-only unless you approve something being sent.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers, only for running Domaro:
- Amazon Web Services (United States) hosts the servers and encrypted storage.
- OpenAI provides the voice assistant and some text drafting. What you say to the assistant, and the parts of your records it needs to answer, are sent to OpenAI to produce the reply. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days to detect abuse.
- OpenRouter routes the reading of incoming mail, to sort it and spot fraud, to a model that keeps nothing after answering.
- Twilio (United States) sends the text messages your assistant sends for you, and receives the replies.
- The services you choose to connect (Google, Dropbox and others) handle your data under their own terms.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, and only what it requires.
Text messages
When you approve a text, your assistant sends it from your Domaro number through Twilio, and replies are kept with the job. Phone numbers are used only to send the messages you approve and to receive replies. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Anyone can reply STOP to stop texts from your assistant, or HELP for help.
Google user data
Domaro’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail, Calendar and Drive data is used only to provide the features you see in Domaro; it is not used for advertising, not sold, not used to train generalized AI models, and not read by people at Domaro except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your information while you use Domaro. Disconnecting an account stops further reading and removes its access token. You can ask us to delete your Domaro and everything in it at any time by writing to platform@domaro.app; we delete it promptly, except what the law requires us to keep. Encrypted backups, kept to recover from failures, expire on their own within 60 days.
Your choices
You can see and correct your records in Domaro, ask us for a copy of them, disconnect any connected account, and ask us to delete everything. Depending on where you live you may have further rights; write to us and we will help.
Children
Domaro is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and its date, and tell you in Domaro before a significant change takes effect.
